Fargerik økologi og biologi på Nordvestlandet. Har sett slike blodraude dammar sjølv, bare litt lenger sør, på øya Frøya i Bremanger. Rock pool Haematococcus algae
Dette er årsaka til at gåtefullt tjern i Stad skiftar farge
Det går frå sitrongult, grønt til blodraudt. No har forskarar funne svaret på kvifor. – Ein litt morosam kuriositet.

Visited Runde again today. The Northern Gannets, with their long breeding season, are still around. Decent number of recruits as far as I could judge through the binoculars. Morus bassanus, havsule.

Hi - I'd like to share this story of what is happening at NOAA GFDL, where some of my colleagues and I worked until the mass firings at NOAA last week.

"...the birthplace of weather and climate forecasting"
NOAA firings hit the birthplace of weather and climate forecasting
Dismissed researchers were improving severe weather predictions

The future Barents Sea—A synthesis of physical, biogeochemical, and ecological changes toward 2050 and 2100
The Barents Sea is a hotspot for ongoing Arctic climate change, manifested in a rapid warming of the ocean and the atmosphere and a strong decline of the winter sea-ice cover. These changes in the phy...
