The massive surge in billionaire wealth has led to the 1% having an outsized influence over our politicians, economies, and media. As families struggle to afford groceries, housing, childcare, and healthcare, govt's need to listen to the needs of the people, not just the super-rich.

The reopening of the Rafah crossing between Egypt and Gaza is desperately needed for people who have been trapped without options for months, but reopening alone is not enough.

People, goods and humanitarian assistance must be able to move safely and unhindered. The violence must stop.
