We have an opening for a Data Scientist at Hitachi Rail! Not explicitly an #fsharp job but the team uses it a lot.

Best & nicest team I’ve ever worked with, by miles. And funnest domain!

Great 1st job out of #academia.

Happy to discuss on DM.

Southampton, UK.

Time passes so quickly! The #fsharp Conf in Berlin was in 2023 - but feels like yesterday. Anyone planning anything for 2025 - maybe in Frankfurt? It's central, good to reach +++ I find that working on things with others brings people together, so what would you folks think of a pure workshop conf?

State of #fsharp in 2025:

- still underestimated (IMO)

- mocked (= secretly admired) by so-called „ #csharp developers“ who already know everything

- ruled out by risk-averse „deciders“ looking for the next disruptive thing 🙃

- more alive than ever - look for yourself ⬇️

Celebrating 5 Years In Production
We started building a new cloud-based SaaS product in July 2019 and chose F# and .Net Core; Were they good choices and would we do the same again today?

Just got the bad news that my client is cutting budgets and all contracts are not being renewed, so I'll be available to start work in the New Year

I'm a Senior Contract .NET C#/F# Engineer with 15 years experience, comfortable working across AWS and Azure. RT's appreciated!
