The Luitpold Hall, (the indoor arena at Nuremberg that Hitler converted for Nazi rallies), was almost exactly the same size as Trump's "Epstein Rally Hall", at just over 90,000 sqft. Both will have space for 16,000 people.

Coincidence? I think not!

DON'T LET ANYONE TELL YOU THAT ITS A BALLROOM!
Why can't solar panels be floated on the sea. No foundations, can be colocated with offshore wind farms, easy to realign, self cleaning and take up no land space!
Oo, I think I've invented a business model!

The one good thing about having a crime party, and an absolute arsehole as a national leader, is that once you know, you know, and, having learned the lesson you won 't put them back in power again, unless you are a bit thick, or the voting is rigged.

Oh, hangonamo...

Well BBC, you've really opened up a fuckin' hornets nest now.

I do hope that you are not expecting me to pay, even a single cent, to Trumpedo, either directly, or indirectly through taxes, because I will happily do porridge before I pay it.

And a billion dollars is an awful lot of cents!

The bonkers thing about the situation in the US is that the Republicans haven't got the power that they think they have. Sure they've accidentally stolen it away from every Democrat living, but *only* Trumpedo holds any power now, no one else!

So, my question is; why?

What do they expect to gain?

The trouble with booing is that it's a closed vowel, unless you're a singer! A cheer isn't!
So take some singing lessons and try again...

Sen Dems: OK, we'll vote to open the government if all promise to give us a vote on health-care in the future.
Sen Repubs: (to each other "omg this is like taking candy from a baby") Yes deal!!!
Sen Dems: You guys promise? We are trusting you
Sen Repubs: Would we ever lie to you 😉

Wales is lost to Labour anyway, so I'm glad that they didn't go to Reform. Not that I would expect them to. Wrong wing!
Anyway, let's see how this pans out in the long run...

I'm not so sure that Davie and Turness have gone because they are seen as too far left.

I think they genuinely thought that they were bigging Trumpedo up, and making him look strong and powerful.

I don't think that it even entered their head that this showed him in a negative light.

In the next GE, (which is, what, four years away nearly?), Labour doesn't have to win by the landslide that they did last time. That was created by the GBP recognising that the Tories could not be allowed another term.
However, they do need to win!
Where is the challenge?
There really isn't one...

If Ukraine are running out of manpower, how come the Russian death toll hasn't changed much, if at all, in three years?

A 50 year mortgage means never owning your own property.
Also, neither will your children!
Don't do it. Pay rent, and get someone else to maintain your home...

If you're going to scream, "Tax the rich!", at the top of your voice, don't put a full stop on the end. Put a comma, and then add ", by [XYZ].", then when you've done that, compare [XYZ] with the list of things that the government have, either done, or planned to do.

That's more like it. Still not enough gold, though!

My fear is that proportional representation will give bad actors like Farage more power, not less. FPTP seems illogical in times like these, but at least we have an opportunity to tactically vote them into oblivion!
No. The problem isn't the system, it's the voters. We are, on average, a bit thick!

If a price is reduced to sell to the US by, say, 20% then the amount of tariff added to that reduced price is still around 16% of the original inflated price. And the reduction to the consumer is only 4% ish.
The tax system gets 80% of what it would have got and the consumer still gets ripped off.

Zultana hijacked and cornered Corbyn right from the get go, using his name in an attempt to set up her party in the way that she wanted. In his usual inimitable style, it took him a while to wind up to what was going on. That's not a criticism, I operate in exactly the same way, so I understand.

Hitler used to fall asleep during war meetings, too.
He never knew, because everyone was too afraid to wake him up.
Sound familiar?

Hand counting votes in US elections of any sort are probably slightly less accurate than machine counted ones.
Buuuuutttttt.... As we have already seen, they are almost certainly less likely to be deliberately tampered with by expert software houses in the control of any one party.

Last night was a bad one for FND.
Anyone with experience of this debilitating condition will understand.
For anyone else, please spend just a few minutes getting an idea of what we are going through.
It's the most common neurological condition in the UK, and it needs more people to appreciate it.
