i used to be a tech enthusiast, but since about 2017 or so it has just become increasingly more abysmal. there is nothing fun about technology anymore. outside of my phone (for security reasons obv), i try to keep my technology as behind the times as possible. no smart tv, no tpm/secureboot, ect.

every time I try to practice drawing it comes out so bad that I get embarrassed, once even my eyes teared up. I wish I had learned when i was a kid, I'm stuck in a cycle of giving up and starting back up over and over again.

using my old 60hz phone after having a 120hz phone for one week literally feels so fucking choppy and laggy it's kind of uncomfortable it used to feel so smooth before I got used to 120hz

switching from IPhone to Android this week, galaxy s24. I've only ever had iPhones as my main phone so it's gonna be weird in sure. but they discontinued the SE so I'm discontinuing my time with apple.
