distinction here being Mythal and Andraste having traceable canon connections, like Andraste is definitely part of Mythal’s horrible witch clique, but ‘the Maker’ is a separate let’s say entity perhaps outside her jurisdiction, ooh mysterious
also the Maker is gendered for whatever reason, and I think if the voice of the Maker were Mythal she wouldn’t pretend to be masculine because that’s not really established to be her style?

I think if Andraste carried a mote of Mythal, or was an ogb, I think it would be more interesting if ‘the Maker’ were not anything so parsable as a spirit of faith, or Mythal herself … idk it’s not an unsatisfying answer but it would be very tidy :(

in which I make a definitive statement but not because I believe it’s factual, just the outcome I think would be best
We’d never have learned anything conclusive about the Maker because (imo) it’s meant to be as mysterious as our own irl struggle with [god]. It’s meant to be an unanswerable question.
