Jason had an amazing idea to accompany our Midsommar May Queen tree topper. He got a bunch of felt and fitted them on our LED lights for even more flowery goodness. I can’t wait to put the tree up! 🎄 ❤️

After a long hiatus (and a successful crochet project), I picked up my knitting needles again. I had to relearn even the basic stuff, and still don’t remember everything I used to, but thankfully it’s coming back quickly. Thanks @tiller.bsky.social for the yarn 🧶 💕

Wooble crochet progress. It’s tamago nigiri! I couldn’t finish this in my first attempt. I undid it all and started again a few days ago and definitely feel like I know what I’m doing, at least a little bit better. Working on the nori strip and then I’ll be done!

Felt like wishing my dwarf-lovin’ bud a happy birthday, and was drawn to Vanillaware designs and loose watercolor. Happy birthday, Leo!

We have some friends coming over to (re-)watch Over the Garden Wall, and I was curious to see if Posca markers would work on stone. Behold! The valley of facts.
The big one was placed outside our door. If it gets stolen, that would be the perfect coda to this art. #otgw

My final piece for #gobtober
This felt like a Norman Rockwell slice of life kind of scene. 31. Pumpkin!
Thanks to Juan from oddartworks.com for the art inspiration

30. Cursed! Sometimes it just feels like that. #gobtober

The first thing popping into my head when I hear 29. Lore Keeper is some stuffy old person in a room full of books. Goblins have a much stronger oral tradition. This one holds on to stories and knowledge and probably a bunch of garbage, too. Designing her was a ton of fun

The end of #gobtober is in sight! And I’m actually all done with my drawings, too. Now to crawl back into my hole like 28. Hermit.

I find watercolors so nice… when other people do them. 😝 anyway here is #gobtober 27. “Pest” - the single sock thief!

Man, this goblin is a pyromaniac! In choosing 25, Elemental, choosing which element to highlight was the first step. This popped into my head and thought it would be a lot of fun to highlight the chaotic nature of gobbos. Some of the outfit was inspired by firefighter uniforms. #gobtober

The winner and “Champeen” (25. Champion) of the Local Goblin Wrestling Foundation! Again, kind of had a tough time coming up with a gobbo for this one, but I was happy with the result! The oversized pants made me laugh!

😔 Woke up early to cram for a test… ugh. I thought I was done with this crap 😭

This was such a great event last night. Teddie and Jaime killed it with such a great roster of readers. Plus, the comics-reading game leveled up with live cello and lots of fake blood! Truly a lot of fun. 🤩
Our next Off the Page will be on Thursday, October 23rd! See the full list of cartoonists and their performance collaborators on the poster.

It has been sold out for the last few weeks but we were able to add a handful of tickets. Get yours while they last: www.eventbrite.com/e/off-the-pa...

24. Dragon was a fun excuse to design a dragon and their rider. The goblin isn’t decked out with some major weaponry, they are on a freaking dragon! Instead I was like “how do they communicate while flying” - so a horn and heraldry came from that. And we love a standing saddle!
