As we build our community here I just want to hit on some of my philosophy around it all:

Let's disagree! Sometimes facts are facts, but USUALLY with analysis people just value things differently and neither person is necessarily wrong. So let's discuss.
I mean ... 🔥

1. Gunnar
2. Adley (I dont care, he's going off this year)
3. Alonso
4. Ward
5. Westburg
6. Beavers
7. Holliday
8. Cowser
9. Basallo

Not to mention TON has 30+ HR pop if healthy; Mayo is still here and finished really strong, Jeremiah Jackson looked good last yr

Screw it, 13 man rotation, no pen.

1. Bradish
2. Valdez
3. Peralta
4. Rogers
5. Imai
6. Gore
7. Baz
8. Cabrera
9. Kremer
10. Eflin
11. Wells
12. Povich
13. Young

Pete Alonso has had an OPS+ of 122 or higher every year of his 7 season career so far.

He's one of 5 players to do that each of the past 7 seasons.

The people who say there are too many bowls really have a Big 10 + SEC only mindset.

And I get it .. my whole family went to Penn State, who cares about more than 7 or 8 bowls max?

But as a Delaware grad and season ticket holder, I am so hyped for our 1st ever bowl tonight!

How I'd rank the FA SP options:

1. Valdez (some character questions, but would trust our staff & team to make that not be an issue)

Gap

2. Imai (electric stuff, young - unproven)
3. King (electric stuff, injury concerns)

Gap

4. Suarez (great results, concerning velocity)

Sources: Red Sox, Yankees, and Orioles are competing for Michael King and the RHP from BC hopes to make a decision soon.

King, 30, was 18-12, 3.10 for the Padres the last two seasons. Profiles as the No. 2 the Sox need. We'll see if they step up.

King certainly knows the terrain of the AL East.

The last game that Pete Alonso missed was June 17th, 2023.

416 consecutive games played.

After signing Pete Alonso, the Baltimore Orioles are still in hot pursuit of a front-line starter. Tatsuya Imai, Ranger Suarez, Framber Valdez are all potential options while they also continue to aggressively monitor trade options.

Got an ESPN alert and could only see:

"Pete Alonso finalizing..."

And was so pissed 😂

Today is healing haha

If we're being honest, the Orioles need to add 2 starting pitchers this offseason.

Ideally something like:

1. Addition
2. Bradish
3. Rogers
4. Addition
5. Kremer

And Cabrera would be an excellent 2nd addition.

Gotta go after King, Imai or Valdez still. But would be a good get

Way I see it.

This is a "no more excuses" offseason

We don't get the talent we need, then Mike should be on the hot seat. Explanations be damned

Im not there over this. In fact im encouraged by this, that they offered that

But it cant mirror last yr's "well at least we tried"
December 9, 2025 at 9:10 PM
Look, if you think Elias is cheap for offering a DH $150M the yr after offering a SP $180M, then your head is in the sand or just like complaining

THAT SAID. Cant go "well we tried" like we did last yr

Overpay & get a premium SP.
And if you really want to go for it, Pete Alonso too.
December 9, 2025 at 8:14 PM
1 of Valdez & Ima
1 of King & Suarez
1 of Schwarber & Alonso
And a set up man for the pen.

And call it an offseason.

Happy to be delusional until it's impossible lol

(There are other small moves you could do to sure up the pen more and outfield, etc. But this would work haha)

Ryan Mountcastle is just 2 HRs away from being the 31st player in Orioles history to hit 100 with the club.

The reality too is that Grayson had been inconsistent before his injuries (because most young pitchers are) and then hasnt pitched in a yr & a half.

His arm *could* be special. But to think you know what you'd get the rest of his contract or to expect greatness, is a step beyond what I could do
November 19, 2025 at 4:36 AM
Yea Os must:

Be low on Grayson's ability to bounce back

*and*

Have SP plans in the works
The Orioles have swung a deal, trading away right-hander Grayson Rodriguez to the Los Angeles Angels for outfielder Taylor Ward.

Rodriguez hasn’t pitched in a major league game since midway through 2024.

Spend baby spend
Elias, continued: “This ownership group is willing to dip into the red considerably to do that. … In the short term, we recognize we’ve got a core that could use some competition and wants to win and bounce back.”

Buck Britton, Drew French and Ryan Klimek are all expected to return to the Orioles coaching staff under manager Craig Albernaz, per source.

Last year, French was pitching coach, Klimek was pitching strategy coach and Britton was interim third base coach. TBD on exact titles.

This is pretty funny not gonna lie 😂
Orioles announce they have acquired RHP Andrew Kittredge from the Chicago Cubs in exchange for cash considerations.

This is so nice!

We'll get into the baseball side of things soon enough, but it's so heart warming to see this guy and his young family have just a banner day that he won't forget.

A big 2026 for Enrique Bradfield Jr

An elite CF defender, with elite speed and a good eye at the plate. No power to speak of - so needs to get on base with that eye, speed and contact.

In 77 games in AA:

.276/.394/.390

41 for 48 SBs

Let's see how the bat (and health) will hold up in AAA
October 15, 2025 at 12:40 AM
Most games pitched for the Orioles in a 3 yr stretch (only including the most these individuals did in a 3 yr stretch)

221 - BJ Ryan
217 - Jim Johnson
210 - Buddy Groom
207 - Yennier Cano *including 2025*

Only 3 players have been used more times over 3 years.
