Killing this many belugas at once, in close proximity to each other, could be illegal animal cruelty.

Animal Justice has filed a complaint with Niagara Police calling for action to prevent #Marineland from mass-killing all 30 surviving beluga whales.

The complaint was submitted along with a letter from marine mammal scientists to the govt, warning that killing belugas en masse would cause distress.
