I was sitting at a train crossing contemplating myself and as always, self doubt popped up. And before I could finish my sentence, the train passing had ginourmous graffiti that said “You’re Ready” on it. Boy my spirits really told me, huh. They always have a “Nuh Uh” in that back pocket of theirs.

Every time I watch The Shining, I'm sadder and sadder about it's continuing relevance.
So many in this country view themselves as caretakers and of a legacy that ultimately drives a wedge between them and their families and anyone they view as needing to be "corrected."

I had to pry open (my cat) Figaro’s Chompers bc he caught a poor lizard, and the little critter ejected his tail 😭 the baby’s fine and ran off, and you KNOW that thing is now getting mummified and used in spellwork now, but good god that poor baby 😔
