One of the nicer revelations of my periodic John Cipollina deep dive is that the Terry & The Pirates records are actually good! I always assumed they were blues grunt but this shit is like bay area Rockpile, which puts it ahead of like 3/4 of the 60s SF heads in the 80s. Plus Terry has a cool voice
