Took my OpenFlexure Microscope to a demo today. I decided to walk. It's nice to have a project portable enough you can carry it 4km along the Bath Skyline.

OpenFlexure Microscopes are more available than ever. It is really exciting to see so many businesses helping our community buy microscopes.

@labcrafter.co.uk have a new Hi-Res upgrade kit.

Fieldworkers in Japan are also selling a kit!

The true power of Open Hardware is that anyone can sell it.

🚨REALLY COOL PAPER ALERT!🚨
We built on the @openflexure.bsky.social platform to combine a 3D printed microscope chassis with both a 3D printed condenser and objective lens.

Now we have the entire microscope, including the optics, printed for less than £7.00… and it works!

Hello BlueSky.

The OpenFlexure Project is an open source project that allows anyone to build a robotic microscope anywhere in the world.

So far people have told us that they have built or used an OpenFlexure Microscope in 50+ countries. Have you built or used one in a country that isn't pink yet?

Started to tidy workshop. Realised workshop has no microscope slide storage. Designed 1st iteration of slide holder for @openflexure.bsky.social project (& stopped tidying).

Had some first layer issues, but turned out ok!
