We eat, sleep, and breathe #3DPrinting over here at E3D, so of course the soundtrack to our lives also has to be FDM related 🎵

We’ve made a start on a 3D Printing playlist ... comment your song suggestions down below and we’ll get them added in!

After Prusa moving out of open source hardware, they are now taking two extra steps forward:

1. The Core One L will not be provided as a kit anymore
2. It is very probable that they will adopt patents with the INDX

Great to see that the CERN OHL V2 #opensource hardware license is the most used one in 2024 and 2025 so far.

If you're working on open source functional/mechanical #3dprinting projects, it is the license you should use. Others may not protect your work as they are not made for functional hardware.

No wires - spindle power and probing logic are routed through linear rails/leadscrews

Easily portable - stows extra tooling and stock internally

Compact - functional parts fit most standard printers

Little update to RAD (Rod Assisted Design) OpenSCAD, angle array list. I realized I would eventually need non-uniform angles it wasn't too difficult to update. I also did some small fixes to other features so far. Also I created a large dodecahedron. github.com/themitch22/R...

It's infuriating that reporting on Prusa's nonsense continues to just totally buy into his narratige and not even do basic fact checking. Open Hardware isn't the culprit and closed source isn't the answer. He's full of shit and reporters need to call him out on it.
