He knows she’s right. As daunting as the prospect is, if he doesn’t try to confess his feelings to Wei Ying tonight, he may never get the chance again. There is almost definitely a long line of boys and girls who would do almost anything to have a chance to date Wei Ying; if Lan Zhan lets this chance pass him by, he may never get a shot with Wei Ying again. He has to go to that party, because he will regret it for the rest of his life if Wei Ying winds up with some other person because he stubbornly chose to spend his evening writing yet another song about the boy.
