I'm working on a nielan fic in which nmj has to undergo court-mandated anger management therapy with lxc 🤭
Except from a fic wip I'm working on in which nie mingjue has to attend court-ordered anger management therapy, and lan xichen is his (hot) therapist: "I've been experimenting," Nie Mingjue admits. "I found a box full of cookie recipes in a kitchen cabinet, but I'm starting basically from scratch with everything else. I made ribs the other night that turned out…okay. Not perfect. I think I know what went wrong. I could…" He coughs into his fist. "I could bring some along next week if they turn out alright." "That's very kind." Dr. Lan also clears his throat awkwardly. "But you needn't trouble yourself. I'm a vegetarian." Nie Mingjue takes a deep breath and tries to dissect the feelings that statement evokes in him. It's mostly disappointment. Just when he was starting to trust him, the good doctor outs himself as some hippie weirdo. "Well…hm."
