the biggest thing i changed in getting my blood sugar down was actually allowing myself to eat sweets occasionally and get this - eat more food, more regularly. please don’t starve yourself, you are literally making it worse
i cover this more in depth in A Physical Education, but intense sugar cravings can actually be a sign of low grade malnutrition/too much restriction for too long. a "health spa" where you eat barely anything would just make it worse; ironically it'd help to eat more www.nytimes.com/2025/01/25/m...
