The next four years are going to be a constantly escalating and increasingly terrifying game of "What made shit did Trump do today?"

Abolishing the National Commercial Fishing Safety Advisory Committee?! Why would you do that?

Here are a couple of more finished projects. My first Oz box sold quick so I made another. And here is my trunk too. The finish is trash so I’m keeping it, but I’m going to make some more of these. #woodworking #woodworkersofbluesky

The European Accessibility Act comes into force for private e-commerce businesses operating in Europe on June 28th, meaning every e-commerce website needs to be WCAG 2.2 compliant in the next six months.

This is Y2K for web devs.

2025 is the sum of all the single digits numbers cubed.

1³+2³+3³+4³+5³+6³+7³+8³+9³ = 2025

That's nice.

2025 is going to be the year I finally learn to draw. I've blocked out 90 minutes a day, so around 500 hours in total. That should be enough to nail the basics.

Planned a design for the next wooden box. I'm going to need approximately 400 of these little triangles, so I made a jig to make them easier to cut. I swear woodworking is about 75% jig-making.

It needs a good sanding, some oil, wax, and hinges, but I'm happy with it.

One day I hope there's an episode of a cookery competition show where things all go according to plan, and they have time for a relaxed cup of tea at the end.

I have an advent calendar but I haven't opened any of the doors yet...

This is the purgatory between wanting to remain a child and accepting that I am an adult.

Dune has the same plot as the Westminster Dog Show: After generations of careful breeding, we have produced this perfect little freak of nature and now it has behavioral issues
Mom: Let's pick out a Christmas movie to watch on Thanksgiving. Which one do you guys want to watch?

ffs we have jira and slack (or walk to people’s desks and talk to them). Don’t wait until standup to learn/share about blockers or where you need help. Post on public channels and comment on tickets to let people know what’s up.

Managing managers is different from managing ICs. Unless you’re conscious of that when you transition and take the time to develop new approaches and skills, you’ll develop bad habits.

99% of the engineering problems I encounter are actually people problems, and could be solved by writing more stuff down.
