today i finally reached 100% completion for night in the woods. being a huge part of my life the last 4 years, this game has helped me better understand myself and the complexities of living. thank you so much @bombsfall.bsky.social & everyone who worked on it, it means the world ❤️‍🩹

Two things are true:

1) The great man theory of history is hot garbage. There is no special magic boy who will fix or ruin everything For everyone else

2) You are irreplaceable. No one else can do the things you do the way you do them. You matter. The world would not be the same without you.

If you want more original stories in animation, if you want more than for every show to have to be based on existing franchises, if you want to show Netflix that they SHOULD be backing first time creators with brilliant ideas like Echo, then give Jentry your time. I promise you’ll be glad you did.

Comments like: “I will never pick up a pencil again” or “i should kms” under other peoples work rlly makes me question if some of y’all just think art is a competition. For me it’s about personal creative expression rather than feeling the need to say something so weird and hide it as a compliment.

being a fan of animation is hard. I'm grateful I had the shows I did when I began learning and growing into who I'm supposed to be, but it's still bittersweet knowing that the industry is not the same as it used to be. I miss it, but I want to remain optimistic about the future
