Had my first respectable finish in paper last weekend at Spotlight Orlando, going 10-5* (scooped r15) with ViVi. Deck hard carried, my only prep was 20 hours of bo1 Arena Direct, GuI_Dukat's guide, and asking my opponents how to sideboard. Also made some big trades and picked up some more sheets :)

Was cracking FTVs to sell singles and one of them was missing a Boseiju with a second Ancient Tomb in its place??? So now I cracked 3 FTV Realms but have 4 Tombs lmao. Anyway, anyone want to buy a playset of FTV Ancient Tombs?

Super happy as I was coming off a stretch of bad directs, and I went 8/14 Sunday after losing a bunch at 5-x Fri/Sat which felt really good.
Won a surprising amount with mid abzan decks, these were the worst.

Necro Storm is IMO the best deck in Timeless right now, it recently won the 120 person 1k, and is rightfully gaining a ton of popularity. I've been crushing ladder with two slightly different lists, both the Grief Sacrifice and Springleaf packages are really strong.

We are sad to announce that we have been told by Wizards that they will no longer support us with either funding or invites to Organized Play events.
Without this support - especially the invites - it is impossible for us to continue, and there will be no more VML seasons going forward.

First try! At 4-0 my phx opponent played played talent on 2, looted away cruise and axe on 3, then declined every loot till I cast a Sheoldred, at which point they dealt themselves 12 in single turn and died in their main phase. Then at 5-0 my opponent scooped to t1 duress. @fireshoes.bsky.social

I've waited for years for Strings + Breach and it has not disappointed. The deck feels head and shoulders above the rest of the format, and it's surprisingly very resilient to graveyard hate.

4-1ed a recq with yawg, first time touching the deck in 6 months and it’s still busted. Cast gsz all of 2 times I think and punted my last match, 2 other house members 4-1ed and no one got an invite lol. Excited to battle today!
