A pool of water, frozen over on a clifftop in North #Mayo. It's iced over & you could walk on it. If it were to break you'd be safe as it's only a few inches deep. Yes, if you were to take a few steps back, you'd fall to your death in the atlantic ocean. #scapes #landscape #photography #nature

I’ve been busy in the garden, hacking away at the long grass, thistles and dandelions. I caught a glimpse of colour and stooped to investigate.
It struck me that people are like this flower. Hidden amongst all the hatred and anger there are beautiful kind souls.

I was really struck by the levels of poverty in Blackpool when I visited last week - parts of it reminded me of Downtown Eastside Vancouver, the poorest district in Canada. Lovely people but terrible poverty. Successive governments have totally failed areas like these.
The Outsiders touring exhibition will be shown next at Blackpool Central Library from 14 April to 25 May 2025. This will be the pin-up version of the exhibition, essentially the same display which was shown inside the Houses of Parliament in January last year.
