"La Migra" is a clear and present danger IMO. Unleashed and out of control. I am white and I live with black brown and native as my neighbors. My white family has many people married in from many different countries for all our betterment. My son has an Abuela, and a Granny

If you think it is "only" against "illegal' migrants, think again. Today it is if you have brown skin, but tomorrow?
I wish for a local network of like minded people who can stand at our schools and churches to be peaceful protesters and take **LOTS OF PHOTOS**.
They can not take us all.

I welcome this BookSky thread on SFF. I started reading SF with Analog, back in ancient history, when I was about 10 (maybe 1968). John Campbell was the editor and I was fascinated. It was a new world back then, and as a young girl I was alone in reading SFF.

I need to find some new reads. I prefer women leads, Sf and maybe a little F but not hot on steamy romance. I like well thought out worlds that impact the development of their culture. Modesitt, Cherryh etc are my favorites. Suggestions?

Hunter Biden - I DGAF about the pardon. Lot's of handwringing on the left, and chortles on the right. This changes NOTHING on the right, and corrects, IMO, an unfair prosecution. So Biden said he wouldn't, then changed his mind. So what? I have some issues with Biden, but this is NOT one of them

My mother, who is 81, desperately wants to go to DC on Jan 20 to protest in a woman's march. She does not want to go alone, and I cannot accompany her due to my work schedule. We live in Western Washington State and I wonder if there are any groups of like minded women who are planning to go
