Interesting new paper on using multi-omics data-analysis methods in integrative holo-omics data-analysis. We were happy to contribute to the metabolomics part.

Congrats @jennymerkesvik.bsky.social‬ for the excellent work!
Check out this preprint of the first article for my PhD thesis!

We've leveraged methods developed for multi-omics to investigate a holo-omic system (🐷🦠), and predicted host-microbiome interactions between important features for observed cross-omic data patterns 🔍📊

Interesting new analysis of ADHD meds in schizophrenia-spectrum disorders: reduced risk of psychosis with atomoxetine and reduced risk for somatic hospitalizations with lisdexamphetamine.

Higher somatic hospitalization with polytherapy, no other negative safety signals. #psychiatry #medsky

We compared metabolite coverage of three blood microsampling devices as an alternative to conventional samples for human biomonitoring. All devices were suitable for #metabolomics analysis and the choice of device depends on the application

An LC-MS untargeted metabolomic comparison between three blood microsampling devices, whole blood, and plasma.
Introduction: Blood microsampling (BµS) devices collect less than 100 µL of blood, offering a less invasive and more cost-effective alternative to venipuncture. However, its metabolomic comparability ...
