Concorde fact of the day:

Concorde used to takeoff at about 70-100mph faster than most normal airliners.

It could also accelerate far more aggressively, as this video shows…

Landlord’s agent just asked about renewal (they’re looking to put the monthly rent up to £1,250 for a studio that is a quarter of the size of my new place).

This felt good to send.

No idea how the clip on hinges work 😳

Quite like the view from my new place. It’s not like the city centre one in my old apartment, but I have two of these massive windows and they let in so much light!

But it’s also shaded so it’ll keep the place cool in Summer ☺️

Anyone know the best way to empty an oven cleaner bag without giving myself 3rd degree burns?

It looks like Starmer has created a coup by accusing his colleagues of instigating a coup

British Airways clean and recycle their cabin blankets…

So there’s a chance Pavarotti, George Michael, or Queen Elizabeth II had a nap in this!

Tbf, have you ever seen a gay who isn’t plotting?
NEW: Wes Streeting says it’s “categorically untrue” that he’s plotting a coup against Keir Starmer.

“Whoever has been briefing this has been watching too much celebrity traitors.

“The briefing about me is the most unjustified attack against the faithful since Joe Marler was banished in the final.”

Just had a call from the builders of my new place (not sure how they’ve got my number)… Apparently there is something wrong with my front door that needs fixing (not noticed anything wrong or reported anything)

Okay… 😅

Concorde fact of the day:

Concorde’s cockpit had over 1000 buttons, switches, dials, and knobs.

By comparison the a320 has about 575.

Despite this, Concorde’s cockpit felt relatively familiar to new pilots with instead technical procedures such as fuel transfer being the most complicated element.
