And once again, the Dems look like they are blowing an opportunity. When they get these weak concessions and then vote for DHS funding, the administration will simply ignore the constraints and leadership will lose even more credibility, if that is even possible.

MAGA will use whatever means necessary, including duct tape to keep tRump together until he completes over half his term. Then they will find a way to discard him so that Vance can take over and still be eligible to run for two terms. Watch this space.

If the next Democratic President doesn't immediately get to work, with Congress, to dismantle all of the oligopolies that have developed in this country, nothing else matters. The corporations have more power than our government at this point. Break them up now. Every day we don't, we will suffer.

Just when I began to have hope about Democrats after last weeks wins, our Senators cave on the shutdown. I have come to the realization that I have less faith in our ability to win this battle against oligarchy than ever. I left X when Musk bought it and now I'm out on politics completely.

Dems backed Trump into a corner where he’s advocating for starving Americans and hemorrhaging support. If they vote to let him off the hook in exchange for nothing it’s a cataclysmic failure. I know people are in pain but insulating Republicans from political consequences is not the answer.

Hey @mcuban.bsky.social, the time is right to start your own streaming service/cable network. There is plenty of talent available and to say the demand is pent up would be underselling it. I know it will make some people mad that you actually have the financial ability to do it, but they will watch.
