Cleared ≠ usable
Roads were drivable.
Walking and biking routes weren’t passable.
The issue wasn’t clearing — it was coordination.
Cleared paths were made unusable by road clearing.
Everyone, including the 25% of Edmontonians who don't drive, deserve to be able to get around.

Update: there were 2 vehicles clearing these lanes this morning: a sweeper AND a scraper. While we're now down 2 solid ice in many spots, they're usable again. Adjacent roads haven't been bladed yet and I fear the subsequent windrows will bring us back to the conditions pictured below. 🤞🏼 #yegbike

Conditions were the same this morning. I'm glad I walked and am able to. The 3 blocks that remain on 102ave were bare pavement yesterday. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I've never seen Edmonton bike lanes this bad. And it's been consistent since moving 102a to 103a.
