I love a good story.
Thanksgiving-Cyber Monday, my wallet's ignoring Target, Home Depot, & Amazon. I'm tired of corporations enabling this administration ditching DEI, allowing ICE to terrorize our communities, & chase tax breaks. Join me! #WeAintBuyingIt 🚫 app.sosha.ai/s/rmNpUvrG

Mike Johnson refuses to swear in Representative-elect Adelita Grijalva — because her vote could force the House to release the Epstein Files. The GOP is doing everything they can to keep Trump's Epstein cover-up going.

My mother was an anti-fascist, studied to be a nurse in America's anti-nazi army. She would have been in the front lines of Saturday's No Kings march.

It's Banned Book Week. Discover one of the Number Sixes on PEN America's list -- Crank by Ellen Hopkins. Why is it required reading in drug courts and pulled from school shelves? If you want to order a copy, bookshop.org is having its "anti-Prime" days. That means free shipping on 10/8.

Happy Banned Book Week. Go celebrate. Read a number one banned book like A Clockwork Orange and ask yourself why it was banned. Is it pro-violence? Or is the world we live in pro-violence?

Today is National Orange Shirt Day, National Shut Down the Government Day, National Don't-Swear-a-Loyalty-Oath-to-Pete-Hegseth Day. So much to celebrate, I think I'll need a MedBed.

Trump has dementia. Even a MedBed won't help.

Happy Birthday to the Bill of Rights. On this day in 1789, the First Congress of the United States approved 12 amendments to our Constitution and sent them to the states for ratification. The first 10 of those amendments became known as the Bill of Rights. Time to celebrate with cake and resistance.

This is why Trump wants to control the museums --

Oh, this from George Orwell's 1984. It sounds too familiar..."All history was a palimpsest, scraped clean and reinscribed exactly as often as was necessary. In no case would it have been possible, once the deed was done, to prove that any falsification had taken place." Hands off the Smithsonian!
