I also am kind of annoyed watching Grimes btw. Like I’d argue he is probably one of the biggest reason the offense goes into the toilet when Maxey is off the floor. He has a horrible assist to turnover ratio and it shows. A simple change would be to just stop having him play as an offense initiator

Pistons just out hustled them after they made substitutions at the end of the third. But losing Oubre sapped them of size, some offense and arguably their best defender. Grimes is not playing his optimum role IMO. VJ is too green.
This is a bad loss for the Sixers against a woefully shorthanded Pistons team. Their offense has been having way too many stagnant stretches recently. There's too much offensive talent, even without Embiid, PG and McCain.

This team is too talented to struggle this much on offense. They could spam pick and roll but instead play 5 out with Andre Drummond. What is going on?

I’m not sure what the solution is with this roster but running the best players into the ground isn’t the best strategy, methinks.

Nurse deserves a lot of credit for how well the Sixers have played. He still always calls a time out like one or two possessions too late lol

Magic win a chippy third quarter. Crazy finish as Sixers rip off five straight before an Anthony Black 3/4 court heave goes in. Sixers up 101-94 heading into the fourth.

Jo is going to look a lot better with spacing too.
I got a ton of rewatching to do, but one of my biggest takeaways is how important Jared McCain will be when he returns. His floor spacing (and even Paul George’s too) will drastically help this Sixers’ offense.
