I took negative zero pictures (including missing one with my BFF) so I forgot to share, whoops.
We had the BEST time. So glad to spend a weekend with some of my oldest friends.

This is already the best PAX of my life. I just realized my best friend of 15 years - that I haven't seen in forever - was sat a table away from me. We had no idea either of us would be here. I have never sprinted faster for a hug.

Real talk, I am SO excited to hang out with my friends I'm going to PAXU with, but reading familiar names on the event list puts the biggest pit of anxiety and nausea in my stomach.
I keep thinking I'm good - and I am good - but whew, the long-term trauma of it all that just lingers and lingers.

I will be returning to PaxU this year, going with my longest-running D&D group and husband. Some were at my wedding, very excited to meet the rest!
Also...honestly a little nervous to likely see everyone in the TTRPG world, but I'll be just fine. Been a very long time now.
