RFK Jr. is reportedly going to forbid government scientists from publishing in the world’s most respected medical journals — the Lancet, The New England Journal of Medicine, JAMA, etc.

It’s going to take decades to repair the damage done by this administration.

Waiting for my car at the dealership and there are three older dudes waiting and oh my god the political hot takes are WILD.
One is a Trump supporter (wtf in Canada) and I think I’ve almost bit through my tongue keeping my mouth shut.

Husband is running in the federal election and who boy do you find angry people and family members you never knew had such big feelings about stuff, than when you post something relatively innocuous. Really hateful stuff. It’s so tiring.

RFK Jr. is absolutely enraging me rn with his ‘autism epidemic’ BS.
I cannot handle the blatant lies and rampant misinformation spewed by this ableist asshat with brain worms.

I had to lockdown my account over at the bad place because my husband is running in the Canadian federal election for the Liberal party in Quebec.
Lots of reasons, but the most important things is that you VOTE!

Kiddo is in Peru on a school trip and they just declared a state of emergency in Lima with military on the streets. Luckily she’s on the Amazon so, not IN Lima, but will have to transit back through. 😖

Americans don't trust Trump's economic policies but they look at the Dems and shake their heads.
Here's a simple solution:
Dear Democrats... hold Canada's beer.
We'll show you how it's done.

Trump up, Dems down in new polls
More registered voters say the U.S. is heading in the right direction than at any point since early 2004.

Government irresponsibility has consequences.

The UCP’s junk science and fearmongering have eroded trust in vaccines—now, measles cases are rising, and kids’ lives are at risk. This is completely preventable.

Parents, get your kids vaccinated.

They're called public records for a reason. Starting today, WIRED will *stop paywalling* articles that are primarily based on public records obtained through the Freedom of Information Act, becoming the first publication to partner with @freedom.press to offer this for our new coverage.
Wired is dropping paywalls for FOIA-based reporting. Others should follow
As the administration does its best to hide public records from the public, Wired magazine is stepping up to help stem the secrecy

CBC science show Quirks and Quarks just had another great episode talking about the long term damage caused by each COVID infection.

If you're starting to wonder why so many hard-core scientists are so contemptuous of our public health institutions, listen to this.
