I got up from my sleep to drop a deuce, only to open up Bluesky and see that I've been spam-followed by a "game development" studio who is woke-washing their constant use of generative AI. Fucking disgusting.

Now, back to sleep.

Most fandoms are majority child-brained narcissists stuck in neurotic loops. Mobilizing these people to engage a materialist, non-culture-war-based politics is nearly impossible. Further, if it could happen, they'd be nearly useless - ruttingly building plans around egoistically mollifying outcomes.

One of the most regrettable things I've learned in my 28 years online, is that one could create the most disgustingly fucked-up fictional character, and if it gets even marginally we'll known, there'll be a few hundred people who want to fuck it, and who want you to know about their consumer fetish.

Happy #PortfolioDay to those who observe. I’m Shawn, a Graphic Designer, Illustrator and guy who posts this sort of thing twice a year so I can update my pinned skeet. Here’s some art

Controversial take: Dilbert has, in point of fact, made me laugh on occasion.

Eric Bowman. Those stylized clouds are so unexpected, the last thing you'd think to do. But their overlaps, solidity, shapes, and cast shadows make this so cool.

And the horse and rider keep it from just being an abstract...it's more or less a real space.

Can't stop looking at it.

I finished remixing "White Rabbit" by Jefferson Airplane. I'm fairly proud of my work - especially because of how much of a challenge it was. Unfortunately, I have nothing to do with it. It's just sitting there on my hard drive.

I block any account using generated AI imagery I happen to come across. I also block any account that seems even marginally annoying. These practices have landed me on a ton of block lists, under the assumption that I'm blocking for specific political and/or cultar war issues. Predictable.

I'm watching a show about CIA operators, and it has a soundtrack cue of "Trouble Everyday" by Frank Zappa and the Mothers.

Cultural rebellion is pointless. Everything made public is prerecuperated. Art stopped existing at the end of WWII.

Today is C Martin Croker's Birthday. Aside from voicing both Zorak & Moltar in Space Ghost Coast to Coast, Dr Weird & Steve in ATHF, and the Cartoon Network mascot Super Chuck, he was an accomplished animator and illustrator, primarily for CN and Adult Swim

Clay Croker would have been 64 today

Really pissed off at Reaper right now. I've learned to use six other DAWs over the past 32 years. With that in mind, everything from Reaper's UI/UX, to its default settings are counter-intuitive/unfriendly. There aren't even click-in number fields for track volume and panning. Gah!

I'm nearly 50. From roughly ages 13 to 40, my life was chiefly characterized by various, intensely close, typically long-term platonic friendships. A particle collider of big personalities. Since that aspect of my life has dissolved, the feeling of unlife has consistently gotten more intense.
