Saw #Superman. I liked it, but didn't love it. Which is kinda bumming me out. I really wanted to adore this film, but something about it kept me at arm's length. I'm still processing, but here are my initial gut reactions:

Just got back from seeing Sinners. It was excellent all around. Fun, sexy, gory, meaningful, and creepy. A unique take on an age-old concept that'll stick with me for quite some time.

Heard Val Kilmer passed. Such a bummer. He was one of my childhood heroes. I so wanted to be Madmartigan as a kid. He leaves behind a legendary body of work. Willow, The Doors, Tombstone, Batman. This one hurts. He will be greatly missed.

Finally watched Anora. All I can say is WOW! Can't stop thinking about it. I didn't want it to be over. I could've easily spent several more hours with those characters. I think that's when you know you've watched something special. Bravo 👏🏽

#Sonic3 was excellent. Just saw it with the kids. This franchise continues to impress. One of those rare gems where the human side-characters are just as great as the titular hero. Absolutely love it.
