The EHRC – the body which is meant to protect our human rights – is proposing guidance which would turn the Equality Act into a bathroom ban. If this becomes law, it would force trans people out of public life.

And terrifyingly - this is all happening behind closed doors 🧵
Don't let them take away our rights behind closed doors The EHRC's proposed Code of Practice would devastate trans+ lives and put everybody at risk. This trans bathroom ban is set to become law with no debate, no scrutiny and no vote in Parliament. We have to act now.

A mass lobby is when a group of people contact their MP or contact members of the House of Lords and arrange to meet them in parliament on the same day and at the same time. In 1890, the X and Y chromosomes were discovered. It was found that the men who were tested had 46 chromosomes, including an X and a Y, while women who were tested also had 46 chromosomes, including 2 X chromosomes.
So obviously the conclusion was that the Y chromosome defined masculinity.
