Women who are sexually assaulted are not asked for a birth certificate, women who are raped don’t have a chromosome test, women who are discriminated against don’t have a genital examination. Trans women as all women face these realities, that’s why we need the same protections.

I know a lot of talk on BlueSky is political and certainly in the UK it’s very much about EU relations. But trans rights are bang in the centre of everything, the far right sought to divide people into 2 camps trans rights was the tool. Trans rights can break this, support trans people.

Yes, the stock market may be tanking and our national security apparatus has never been more vulnerable and we're on the verge of both economic collapse and war, but it was all worth it to keep pronouns out of email signatures.
