Sorry, I was told snow between 10 and 2 today, so why is it snowing NOW?? And I have to go out again for choir rehearsal because we weirdly have it tonight. And it's hopefully our last one before the concert so I HAVE TO go. Grrrrrr.

It really makes me mad when I am stopped and waiting for someone or a class to pass, and someone comes up from behind me and just charges through. Excuse me, did you not already see me standing here, waiting??

I started doing Christmas movie quotes when my friend did Elf quotes. I started out doing another movie, and changed it every year. Last year, I started doing the mix. But my friend isn't doing the quote-posting anymore. Now she is posting clips in her IG and fb stories. I never look at those.

We just got our spirit days for December, so I just had to plan out all my holiday shirts. I have enough for all the days, and they even mostly match the theme, except I need a Disney one. I was even at Disneyland at Christmastime last year and didn't get anything Christmasy there.

I didn't fall on the trip! Which was amazing because the sidewalks in NOLA are TERRIBLE! They are cracked, on their sides, not finished, full of holes, and more. They were so bad.

I spent the whole trip thinking about how I was going to describe the transportation on the trip when I made my official post, and I forgot to do it at all.

We had great weather in New Orleans. I mean, it was a lot cooler than we expected, but we were very lucky that it didn't rain. We all checked the weather, but none of us were adequately prepared for cooler temps. It was warm the day we arrived, and yesterday, but the other days were cool.

Our flight from New Orleans back to Chicago was only delayed an hour! We were very lucky!
At the end of the Thanksgiving holiday weekend, travelers are finding hundreds of flights delayed and canceled in Chicago following a winter storm that brought record-breaking amounts of snowfall.

Friendsgiving trip to New Orleans! We went down because Bill ran a race at Stennis Space Center, and the Crescent City is less than an hour away. My first Thanksgiving trip ever and also the first away from my family. Checked THREE more states off the list with the train trip down: TN, MS, & LA!

I am next to a kid on my flight so that gives me some extra room. I also paid to have a little extra leg room room. It’s nice. The kid is like a 4th grader and doesn’t seem annoying…at least so far. His dad is in the seat in front of him.

I have broken four nails on my trip and three of them were because of my backpack. (I don’t remember what the other one was from.)

I’ve heard a LOT of music on this trip but my favorite so far was two women singing to a young boy on the bus. It was beautiful!
