Fifteenth Street Meeting has been hosting and organizing some activist-energizing events recently, with more to come. Last week I attended a performance of Reverend Billy and the Stop Shopping Choir that ended the SUN DAY of pro-clean-energy activation. It was ecstatic! Earthalujah!

This is a big win! New York Yearly Meeting is part of this lawsuit. The monthly meetings in NYYM, including all the meetings in NYC, are now protected from unwarranted ICE actions in or near their worship spaces due to this injunction.
Well, this is certainly an encouraging way to start the week.
JUST IN: A federal judge has issued a limited injunction barring the Trump administration from conducting immigration enforcement in a gorup of religious congregations that sued on religious freedom grounds.

It is NOT a nationwide injunction, however.
