@aptshadow.bsky.social I just came across an eBay listing of these comics and couldn't help but wonder if these were made by you??

Seems to have been published on BBC Berkshire by "by local artist Adrian Czajkowski"

Finally got my fiancée’s signed House of Open Wounds fan art up on the wall.

Thanks @aptshadow.bsky.social for indulging me with all my questions and requests for book signatures!

@aptshadow.bsky.social

Did you intend for „First Sight“ to be set in the universe of „Saturation Point“ or does the reveal at the end of First Sight just coincidentally feel eerily similar to that of Saturation Point?

@aptshadow.bsky.social I just read your fascinating story „Obstructive Nodes“ and the ending left me confused:

If there arent any doors, how did HE get in there? Did the insect swarm come to eat him? Is he even human or is HE just a swarm of insects?
Are there any explanations in the original We?

Feels like every week I find another anthology or special edition by @aptshadow.bsky.social ! Stumbled upon what seems to be a ForbiddenPlanet edition of Cage of Souls, which will join my doodled „normal“ edition in my collection!

@aptshadow.bsky.social

Just reread parts of House of open Wounds and was wondering:

Do you have the „97 Loopholes of God“ all spelled out? If yes, I would love to read them at some point! Maybe accompanied by a bunch of short stories narrated by Lidlet?

How about 97 short stories? 😄

@aptshadow.bsky.social Halfway through Bee Speaker, just heard the word ‚gravid‘ for the second time in my life. Had to google its meaning when listening to Shroud.

Coincidence? A new favorite word of yours? :)

@aptshadow.bsky.social

By my count you have published 99 Short Stories. Not 100% confident that I didn't miss anything but I've listed them all here and looking forward to your 100th!

Do you have a more official/reliable count? (Your website is sadly not complete)

@aptshadow.bsky.social Look what I just got! This editorial is exactly as old as myself, written within a week or two of my birthdate!

Now onto my impossible mission to find issues 26, 29, 35, 37 and 41…

@aptshadow.bsky.social Do you know if „Vivisepulture“ ever got a physical release? Or if „Pipeworks“ was ever released in a different (physical) anthology? All I can find is the ebook.

It’s the only Walther Cohen story I’m missing and I do like me physical books :/

If I had a nickel every time @aptshadow.bsky.social wrote a story about a time-traveling/dimension-hopping group of actors I‘d have 2 nickels. Which isn’t much but it’s weird it happened twice!

(It IS the same group in both stories, right? And Dress Rehearsal is a prequel to Roar of the Crowd?)

@aptshadow.bsky.social just read Feast&Famine where you use the term „Expert System“ for the computer

Any connection to the Expert-System novellas? Coincidence? Did you like the term and re-used it without putting theM in the same ‚universe‘?

I loved how they escaped by jumping off the asteroid!

@aptshadow.bsky.social There's currently a discussion on the r/AdrianTchaikovsky subreddit on whether or not to explicitly allow/ban AI art posts.

I believe your stance on it is quite obvious from interviews I've seen, I thought you might want to weigh in?

@aptshadow.bsky.social I just read „Not a cat person“ and I‘m ashamed to admit I did NOT see than end coming (until literally 1 sentence before the reveal).

Despite having read 30 of your books and knowing about your enthusiasm for certain animals!

My favorite short-story of yours (so far…)!

@aptshadow.bsky.social just received my copy of Looking Landwards anthology, from 2013. Says it was based on a competition open to the public.
Did they really manage to get a short story from the famous A.T. without even commissioning you?

Lucky them! Maybe I need to hold my own SF competitions…

Hi Adrian
I haven't been able to find any explanation for your withdrawal from the BSFA Novel cat. Surprised me since you're still nominated for the Novella and Alien Clay is nominated for the 2025 Hugo and PKDick awards

Are you bored of winning so many BSFA awards? 😅

@aptshadow.bsky.social Just read your short story „Sandra and Me“ and that was one of the most oddly discomforting stories I’ve ever read!

Any particular takeaway you wanted to impart to the reader? Is it about the risk of losing yourself in a relationship and stopping being yourself?

@aptshadow.bsky.social

Your habit of showing up in beautiful signed anthologies is going to bankrupt me one of these days!

@aptshadow.bsky.social Hi Adrian, I recently acquired this cool copy of Goldsboro Books „First Edition 21“ with many signatures (but not all of the authors)

I’ve compared them to many of your signatures and am not 100% sure. Is the circled one yours? It’s similar but not identical to others I have.

@aptshadow.bsky.social Do you have any (public) events in/around London between April 2nd and April 6th? Doesn’t matter what size or where exactly!
I‘m visiting from CH and would love a chance to hear you talk and/or get a book signed by you!

@aptshadow.bsky.social You recently signed pages for Shroud. Can you tell us when and where those will be available? Haven't found anything online and would hate to miss them!
