Great Egret over Cullernose Point this afternoon. A couple of hours on the coastal path between Howick and Craster were just the tonic after a prolonged bout of Covid. Also a single Fieldfare in off and 5 Whoopers south (2ad 3 juv) #NEbirding

The Druridge Bay Country Park White-billed Diver as it departed overhead at 11.20 yesterday. Watched it take off and do a lap of the lake and fly out to sea over our heads. Hence the rushed, blurred record pic 🙄#nebirding

Joined @gary-woodburn.bsky.social and Andy at Beadnell Point for an hours seawatch 2.00 to 3.00pm. 66 Little Auk (2 landed on the sea ) also a steady stream of Kittiwake a few Gannet and Eiders all north. A distant Scoter flock hard to sea between huge waves. Great stuff.

A pleasant couple of hours at Stag Rocks after the rain 10.00 to 12.00 this morning. 1 Black Guillemot, 2 Long-tailed Duck, a few Red-throated Divers, 3 Pale-bellied Brent. 1 Kingfisher on the rocks and 1 Woodcock in off which landed in field across the road.
