Been a hot minute since I talked about anime. Just finished Oshi No Ko season 2. I will say it definitely wasn’t as good as season 1, but I did like it overall. I think what I liked most about S1 was how connected I felt to the struggles some characters had. This season was just a good overall story

I feel like putting the new DM feature on the main UI screen really messed up one of the only distinguishing features this app had. I thought they deleted the Feed feature until I found it buried in the menus

Since Netflix kicked me out before I could finish Delicious in Dungeon, I decided to take a break from “punchy-punchy” anime and start Kaguya-sama Love is War. I love it and definitely spent all of last stream thinking about going back to watch it 😭

To this day I am still upset with myself for not downloading LoR during the beta and getting that blue Poro
Travel to and from Europe gave me plenty of time to finally start watching Jujutsu Kaisen. I definitely like it a lot, but am I crazy for feeling lost sometimes? Almost like I missed an episode in between bingeing or something? Like one episode ends at point A, but then the next starts at point D

Season finale premiered this weekend. I really like the show as a whole, though I still stand by my original post that the first 2 episodes were not a great start. The show was already good but hopefully season 2 fixes the minor pacing issues I had!
Ok so I watched up to episode 3, I really like it so far but honestly the first 2 episodes were not a great first impression for me. I think if these 3 episodes were one long episode I’d be super hooked. Overall I’m happy now and will continue watching
Watched the 1st episode of Solo Leveling. It wasn’t bad but it didn’t hook me? I don’t know how to describe it, the animation looks fine, I didn’t feel bored watching it, but nothing about the episode really peaked my interest. Going to give it another episode or 2 but like 🤷♂️

Saw Godzilla x King Kong last night. Definitely no cinema masterpiece but it was a fun “turn your brain off & watch kaiju punch eachother” movie. It was almost more fun because I never saw the other movie so I have no idea why they needed to bring a YouTuber or how someone applies to be a kaiju vet

I don’t remember how I found it but I really liked I’m in Love With the Villainess. Voice acting was great, story was fairly simple but just deep enough to get you thinking. I don’t see many people talk about it but it was quite good. Here’s hoping it gets a season 2!
