I was catching up with one of my competitive Runeterra friends and I mentioned getting back into magic, and how I was buying cards for decks that weren't necessarily optimal but more fun/thematic

at some point i should probably get good enough at single-leg wrestling takedowns that i could reliably hit them on someone who's never grappled; while i'm not planning on trying to set up takedowns from standing in competition, standing up directly into a single leg could be a real option for me
i talked a lot of shit about learning takedowns over the last couple months but the next tournament has already been announced and my training's been spotty for health reasons so i will likely not be working takedowns any time before march lmao

i read The Summer You Were There last night! would highly recommend if you're looking for tragic yuri; it's sad, of course, but imo ultimately a hopeful story. the main character's struggle with self-isolating and keeping proper distance from people was very well written (and something i relate to)
