It's Friday, time to mess about!
Undercolouring this in alcohol marker instead of watercolour. Deliberately picking up some of the pencil outline with pens to make fuzzy moth wings.
Undeliberate pen leak made some green spots that smudged tho. Gonna cover it up with snowflakes 😂

It is very rare that we get proper snow around here, so when we do, it is very important to go outside and build as many snow ghosts as you can.

The isopods and other bugs are just a side effect of keeping a pet slime mold, but I quite like having them around.

I learned from @boomklevertje.bsky.social that thistles like this one are ecologically important, because insects overwinter in the hollow stems and dried out flowers.

Correction:
I learned that these snails are protandric hermaphrodites, meaning they start off male and become female. These snails only have male sex organs in the Summer, which means that since last September, this is MISS tiny snail :)
