This scene is significant in that it told the start of NeuviFuri's fallout through simple presentation, now understood as a tragedy of misunderstandings that couldn't be easily communicated.
With a lot to unpack, I'll focus on what only the characters understood at the time.

Neuvifuri have much to do with weather. Neuvillette's association with the rain is obvious enough as well as Furina's association with floods, but for both him and Furina, there is much more than simple rain and floods.

Not a real ship crumb, but I remember finding it so cute how, in the official merchandise reveal of Neuvillette's ladle, they included a marketing Easter egg of Furina's 4th anniversary art in the preview pictures—not just blueberries, but also (most of) the same color macarons in the background!

In terms of NeuviFuri, this Genius Invokation TCG card is artistic genius simply because you can glean so much from this single image and tells a lot about their roles within Fontaine and the courtroom, as well as their professional relationship with each other.

Sometimes, I think about how Neuvillette and Furina were always meant to switch places, not just in seats of power, but how Furina gave up her throne of divinity to Neuvillette so that Neuvillette could watch over humans in her stead, after sitting in an audience seat fit for a human like Furina.
