People who post "all lives splatter" are apparently not welcome at Fergie's Pub. Philly conservative columnist Thom Nickels just learned this.

The Washington Post published a clear video of federal agents removing Alex Pretti's handgun moments before he was fatally shot. There's nothing in the video to suggest Pretti even reached for his weapon.

24 hours after artists called foul the AI-friendly policy, Comic-Con updated the language on its site. “Material created by Artificial Intelligence (AI) either partially or wholly, is not allowed in the art show,” it now says. AI is now banned at the art show.

Just realized my one-year anniversary of being here on this platform was three days ago.

Here are some installation shots of a solo show I had shortly before joining Bluesky, at the Abington Art Center in PA.

We have much to learn in this moment from the explicitly antifascist and radically hopeful Surrealism movement — and from how the not-so-antifascist Salvador Dalí broke from it.
The Nightmares Beneath the Surface of "Dreamworld"
The traumas of war and genocide and the fascist leanings of Salvador Dalí are among the subjects that this sprawling exhibition leaves out.

I participated in the David Lynch Movie Marathon and Art Exhibition at The Colonial Theater in Phoenixville PA.
Great exhibition Curated by Neil Schaeffer. I explained to anyone who would listen that Lynch was a great painter that influenced me and he worked on cardboard.

Megan as Yayoi Kusama at Jocelyn Tice’s My Studio. Model Madness.

Gouache and Acrylic on Gessoed Paper 11 x 14 inches.

She was wearing a Yayoi Kusama costume with dots all over it and to me it makes sense to keep it as like a snapshot of time in a space with these people around me working.
