27 January 1933 | A German Jewish boy, Lutz Ludwig Grünstein, was born in Berlin.

He was deported to #Auschwitz from the #Theresienstad ghetto on 9 October 1944. He was murdered in a gas chamber after selection.

Auschwitz was at the end of a process. We must remember that it did not start from gas chambers.

This hatred gradually developed: from ideas, words, stereotypes & prejudice through legal exclusion, dehumanization & escalating violence... to systematic and industrial murder.

Auschwitz took time.

Intifada is uprising. Intifadas are not unique to Palestine. Uprisings can be violent and nonviolent. Intifadas in Palestine were both. It's like shouting revolution. Would you ban the word revolution?

After destroying every university in Gaza, Israeli occupation forces yesterday attacked Birzeit University in the occupied West Bank, firing live rounds at students and faculty.
