I used to work at a domestic violence shelter and my main job was helping women get their identity documents after leaving/losing theirs. it is an insane process. it can take months especially if you don’t have a permanent residence or changed your name with marriage. lots of people give up.
There is no significant voting by non-citizens. Therefore a new bundle of laws to stop that is dumb. Or worse. It’s voter suppression in a pretty package. IF ID is required, there must be guarantees that support will be provided to those who lack ID. And make Election Day a holiday.

you don’t know shit. I live in a rural red state. you keep running weak sauce dems out here, they will always vote republican. you have a candidate that is for the working class? now you’ve got their attention. no wants corporate dems anymore. except you apparently. cocksucker.
February 12, 2026 at 11:14 PM
you’re an imbecile. nyc is as american as the southwest town I live in. there’s no “real america.” you think you pulled some sort of gotcha here but all you’re doing is showing what a liberal moron you are. if we use your logic we either elect the same dems that got us here or for maga. moron.
February 12, 2026 at 9:03 PM
all the parts of the car are what makes the car. there is no singular part that makes it a car. you cant drive a car without tires. you’re an absolute tool and a moron to boot.
america is all the places on the continent. that includes nyc so shut your moron liberal mouth.
February 12, 2026 at 7:52 PM
are you fucking serious that NYC is not america? who the fuck are you to say such meaningless bullshit? you’re no one and your opinion is factually incorrect. so suck my cheese dick you liberal moron
February 12, 2026 at 6:35 PM

February 12, 2026 at 12:02 PM

I like the size of mass market paperbacks. I might be one of the few. I don’t like having some big ol honkin book with giant type on thick paper. I like something I can fit in the pocket of my bag rather on the inside of my bag. I don’t want a fancy book I want a good book.
For those of you who were keeping up with the mass market mess, here is a more informative article.

Trade paperbacks cost only 30c more to make and are priced $18-20 now, where mass market paperbacks didn't sell at $12. So... there's your answer. It's about margins.

The mass market paperback is vanishing
The mass market paperback — born in 1935, boomed after WWII — is vanishing from airports, drugstores, and groceries.

you all realize you’re talking to a trans man right? I understood this pressure as a child. I know how things are forced on women. I also know that women have agency because I had that agency to transition. so don’t talk to me about pressure.

I truly didn’t pick up on blaming capitalism. my apologies all around.
February 10, 2026 at 1:18 AM
I honestly didn’t.
February 10, 2026 at 1:16 AM

I judge people that order large mochas. big time. does baby need his choco milk? awww wittle baby wants decaf mocha awww baby needs so much milk. disgusting. go get a milkshake because you don’t actually want coffee.
February 10, 2026 at 1:13 AM
weird hill for you to die on saying women have no agency, choice, or will because the patriarchy and social pressure. that’s the opposite of feminism.
February 10, 2026 at 12:44 AM
I said the patriarchy, that was me. not everything is about you brenda. the patriarchy—that’s the societal pressure women face to wear heels according to you. sorry your second wave feminism is failing you so hard. you make women seem infantile and lack intelligence to rise above pressure and own it
February 10, 2026 at 12:41 AM
the epstein files allegedly exonerating micheal jackson is wild. if this is accurate info it means mj was demonized until the day he died for something he didn’t do. i’m willing to believe this stuff about mj but im not sure if it’s just because I love his music or because it’s really that important
February 9, 2026 at 8:54 PM
men are also conditioned in the ways you describe. the patriarchy hurts us all. but be real here, we all have the agency to pick our footwear. there have been many times when I wore sneakers with a suit and boy did I ever hear about it. social pressure is real but cmon you’re talking about shoes.
February 9, 2026 at 8:32 PM
yes they do want to wear them. if they didn’t they wouldn’t. women have agency, make choices for themselves, and are smarter than you seem to think they are. this isn’t the 1970s. women are liberated if they want to be.

hear me out on this: let women wear what they want. also they are waaaay shorter than the men they are interviewing so maybe they want to be up there with the tall people.
