Met a guy. He seemed ok - he opened doors for me and we had a good balance of talking and listening to each other. Next date started off nice - complimented me on my smile and outfit. Opened doors for me. However, this time I barely got a word in and he talked most of the time. 😒😬

To change your name after divorce, you need the divorce decree because you will need the number on it. Then, fill out the application online at SSA.GOV. After that, you have to schedule an appointment to present your ID and divorce decree.

I've been feeling pretty stressed. I went to get a mani/pedi yesterday (I usually do my own nails bc Ive seen my share of nail infections due to dirty implements being used at nail salons. 🤮)

Went to meet a guy last night. We met up at a bar and got along well, I thought. At the end, we go to his car to make out and do some heavy petting. He 💦 on my hand and then says, "I have to go." I just barely got moist. 🙄 #HowRude

Someone matched with me (a therapist) on the dating app. They sent a msg stating that I should wait until my divorce is final before dating. Like Bee-yotch, my own therapist knows Im dating and she hasn't said that I shouldn't. She has been encouraging me, in fact.

When the dating app suggests a person because "you two would be a good match!" So I match with them and its a crypto scammer (well I suspect they are a scammer anyway) 🤨😒🙄😠

I asked my therapist if there is some magic switch to turn off my emotions so I dont get emotionally attached to anyone again. They said that I can, indeed switch from emotional mind to logical mind.

Sometimes I think that I shouldn't be concerned with having any kind of relationship (casual or otherwise) at this point. However, I was so deprived of physical intimacy that I cannot help but to look for it.

Its so hard being by yourself. The times you crumble like paper under emotions or pressure, and there is no one there to help comfort and console you.

Part of me wonders if I really am ready for a relationship. I forget how complicated emotions can be. I have to remember that life is a journey and things happen in their own time.

Interesting observation I made: When telling ppl my age (from the dating apps), I get responses like, "No way, you look 10/15 years younger!"

Was talking to a new person. Misunderstood them about possibly seeing them today. Didn't realize it until I was done getting ready that they meant another time. Went to pick up take-out instead (because I got cute and might as well flaunt it lol)

So I told the person that Im stating to catch feelings for about how I felt. All I said was that I like them alot and I wondered how they would feel about us being in a relationship. They said that they weren't sure what they want in a relationship and they only wanted to be FWB.
