I can’t get on the couch nowadays without a 60lb puppy immediately using me as a pillow.

First day back at work after a long vacation. The puppy tried to follow me out the door to my car because he got used to being around me all day.

Chana masala, dal puri, far far, and mint chutney come in handy when you’re hungry for something delicious.

If you’ve never tried this, it’s amazing. Packs a real umami punch with a shrimp finish. Fantastic to finish out a stir fry dish.

Found some leftover BBQ brisket in the freezer, so ofc I thought “why not make some pho broth to use up this brisket?”

Anyway, hello soup weather!

I know I just made a vegetable curry a few weeks ago but I had to make more today because we got a surprise harvest of tomatoes, potatoes, and eggplant from a neglected corner of the yard.

My (very Southern/white) wife went to the South Asian market trying to buy jalebi but she kept asking for gulab jamun because she got the names mixed up, lol.

They don’t even sell gulab jamun, the checkout lady must have been so confused, lol.

3D printers have come so far in the last few years. It’s just amazing, and so convenient that I’ve got a looong list of things to print.

Mostly practical too.
