Farewell to the wonderful Pauline Collins, who will be remembered (rightly) for Shirley Valentine and Upstairs, Downstairs and Doctor Who… but we’ll always remember her fondly as Clara, the Gracie Allen of the British Isles. RIP.

One the many reasons we're proud to be associated with @wdcb909.bsky.social is because they play great music all week long and also because no one there is an idiot.

The Patrick Stewart version has fewer great songs, but it's also pretty good. When it comes to radio, of course, there's Lionel Barrymore's many versions...
So now they're naming a Christmas Carol movie Ebenezer? You know what, there's a Christmas Carol movie called Scrooge. It stars Albert Finney, with songs by the great Leslie Bricusse. That's the one to watch.
Johnny Depp will reportedly play Ebenezer Scrooge in Ti West’s EBENEZER: A CHRISTMAS CAROL, with Andrea Riseborough (Possessor) also attached to star in the film.
