In the Nordics, we're quite worried about what's next, in particular for Greenland. Some of that is directed as a concern for the prime minister of Denmark - however, with Denmark having elections this year, I am also concerned for electoral integrity, Danish democracy and the risks of interference.

A super short visit over the bridge to Roskilde university. It was actually the second time ever to visit the campus. I had a generative discussion abt. right-wing populism, retrogressive conservatism as alternative Europeanization process & how a gendered perspective provides a new research agenda.

Paris has been extremely generous with its sights this past month. The surprisingly good weather has allowed me to take long walks discovering both the touristy and less touristy corners of the city.

W/h 99,9% of votes counted (2272 of 2274 voting stations) it seems it seems that Moldova 🇲🇩 will continue its careful balancing act away from Kremlin. W/h a 52,19% voting presence the elections mark the victory of pro-European PAS (50,16%) ahead of pro-Kremlin Blocul patriotic (24,19%). 1/

Maybe it was the best of times (see around) to try (& finish) reading Le Guin’s beautiful book. The pace is slow (reason I gave up last time) but perseverance is rewarded w/h seeing though the eyes of a (male) human from Terra the complexity of societies from Gethen whose people are ambisexual 1/

Not sure it was the wisest decision to visit Alhambra Granada in the dead of summer in July, but here you have a snapshot to (sweatily) brag about it. The white marble was simply blinding, but a whole fountain with felines was worth the effort.
