New for Norfolk? Or are they all this species? Two moths from the Phyllocnistis saligna complex collected in July 2024 have been DNA barcoded by the University of Warwick; both confirmed as P. asiatica. (via R. Ward, Oct 2025) norfolkmoths.co.uk/micros.php?b... #norfolkmoths

Diasemiopsis ramburialis (Migrant Sable) in mid Norfolk last night. I’ve caught lots of good moths here incl. 3 county firsts but this may be the rarest @migrantmothuk.bsky.social so far.

4th for Norfolk (3rd this year) unless @norfolkmoths.bsky.social has others pending.

Rather excited (understatement du jour) to find this in the actinic this morning. Norfolk Snout (Nothris verbascella), thought to be extinct in the UK until last year, when Dave Jones rediscovered it. Now to search for its larval food, Hoary Mullein. #norfolkmoths #teammoth #moths #lepidoptera
