Took the long walk home from this afternoon's school run and found a couple of leaf mines. 1st is P. cerasicolella but the second has me wondering - it is on birch with a strong central crease on the underside. May be messaniella but rare on birch? @vc28nature.bsky.social #teammoth #norfolkmoths

A couple of years ago we planted a native hedgerow alongside our front drive which is really paying off. This vacated Stigmella regiella mine found this morning is nfm, taking the garden moth list up to 808 #teammoth #norfolkmoths
